Tyler's Goodbye to Brittany

All throughout high school, Tyler and Brittany were the best of friends... and the best of a couple. In the end, it just didn't work out, even though they cared for each other a great deal. Plus, Tyler is going to Texas Tech and Brittany is attending the University of Georgia. They made an "adult decision" and decided to part ways. Tyler made this video for her as a reminder of what they had together, and as a goodbye.

It is a beautiful video that captures the joy, and the pain, of a first love...

Best Friends

Here lately, putting the boys to bed has become a bit of a challenge. About half the time, they go right to sleep and all is well with the world. However, the other half of the time, they play... and talk... and laugh... even wake up each other up... for hours... like it is a slumber party. Although it is the absolute cutest thing in the world, it is not good for two little boys who need their sleep. But... what can we do? And... when we go into check on them before going to bed, they're usually sleeping in the SAME bed. So precious. They really are the best of friends...

Where's Adam?

Last night, we put the boys down to bed. David pretty much went right to sleep, but Adam stayed up and played a little while in his crib. He got lonely at times and called... "Bubba?" but David was snoozing away. Eventually, things got quiet and usually that means they finally went to sleep. Randall went in later to check on them and found David sleeping soundly in his bed...

He went to Adam's bed and didn't see him. He pushed around on the covers a little bit to see if Adam had just covered himself up really good. Still... no Adam. Randall looked around the room and STILL couldn't find him. He was starting to panic a little bit... Then, he noticed a small movement below him. And finally... he found Adam!

In a sick sort of way, this reminds me of the Wizard of Oz... Dorothy finding the witch's feet underneath the house. However, I assure this outcome is completely different. Our little "monkey" son had crawled under his crib and simply went to sleep. Keep in mind the crib is only 6 to 8 inches off the floor. That, my friends, takes talent!
