Galveston Mini Vacation over Memorial Day Weekend

Well, I kinda haven't updated in a really long time! So sorry! Would you believe I've been busy?? Really... I have! Anyway, on with the show...

Remember way back to Memorial Day weekend... We took a spur of the moment weekend trip to Houston and Galveston.

The boys weren't all that thrilled to be in the car that long, especially Adam... and David got tired of Adam's whining.

We stopped in Houston to see Randall's Uncle Cecil and Aunt Chris. The boys loved it when Uncle Cecil pushed them in his tree swing.

Then, we went to see Randall's cousin, Christy and her new baby, Joseph.

The boys also played with Christy's daughter Riley. Looks like they were playing football and Adam was pretty good at "juking"the ball...

Soon after, we checked into our hotel room in Galveston. It was right on the Bay. The boys LOVED the hotel room AND the view. They pointed out all the "ka-s" (cars), "mo-mos" (motorcycles) and boats.

David gave sugars to the mirror image of himself...

And Adam played "hide and seek" behind the curtain. He hid pretty good, but can you still find him?

Before we left, Adam became the "ruler of all cars." Cool picture, huh?

We went to a restaurant along the beach to eat. David greeted everyone who walked by the window with a friendly, "Hi there!". The patrons were very impressed by the restaurant's temporary greeter.

Adam just kept being cute... and spit out his food.

Later, we went to the beach. Adam and David weren't sure what to think of it at first, but they eventually learned to like it. (Plus, we got some really good pictures!)

We had a GREAT time on our little family vacation. We hope you enjoyed it too!
Stay tuned for our Memphis vacation and the Mitchell Family Reunion. (Both have already occurred, I just haven't had time to blog them yet.)
